The classes of the “North Lens” is a unique platform for students to practice and create short docu-films interacting with each other and relating to issues of multiculturalism.
Work in progress classes is for the students to present scenes from the editing room and receive feedback from the mentor Sebastian Mez. These classes facilitate discussion leading up to the finalization of the film’s style.
Morning coffee with documentary master Claude Lanzmann
A cross – generational meeting in which Mr. Lanzmann encounters the younger generation’s cinematic concepts and in return contributes to them of his experience and expertise.
Students of the international mentorship docuvillage will carry out personal meetings with leading documentary filmmakers, broadcasters and film foundations’ representatives, judges and guests of the Haifa intl. Film Festival for advice and feedback on their final project
